Off Piste skiing is one of the favorite activities of skiers and snowboarders. But like in every extreme activity, it demands physical resistance and depends on the environment. Moreover, it is risky and demands a lot of responsibility, experience and equipment.
Anyone who intends to move out of the slopes should sign the corresponding disclaimer first. This can be done at the ski patrol central, located on the base, at the ski and snowboard school or in any of the checkpoints on the mountain. Then you can contact a member of the ski patrol to learn about the conditions and inform them where you intend to go.
• You should keep in mind that going of piste is one's sole responsibility.
• It’s recommended to always do this with someone who knows the terrain and to have everyone in the group obtain security items: helmet, backpack, shovel, ARVA, RECCO rescue system, and probe. Everything should be working properly.
